What Causes Growling Sound Above The Pubic Area?

Just above the pubic area left side, feels like growling when you are hungry, but completely painless. Three months duration. Been sent for a scan awaiting results, what in your opinion could this be please? It is constant, all day with only max. half an hour between each episode.

You are probably talking about intestinal peristaltic sounds or bowel sounds. Please be reassured that these are normal and caused due to movement of semi digested food through the intestines. It occurs all the time in all of us, it is just sometimes that we feel it.
