What Causes Growth Of Mass On The Right Fallopian Tube And Ovary?

My daughter was treated for PID in the emergency room but after a wk., the growth/mass/tumor has gotten bigger instead of smaller and she was on 2 antibiotics and pain meds. Is this unusual for only a wk.? It is more on the right fallopian tube and ovary. Does this mean it has to be cancer? They took a biopsy and it will take a wk. to come back. Then if it s another wk. before or more to see a Dr. in Iowa City, Ia. and they said she d have to have surgery no matter what, how much can her body take if it s another month if there is infection with it? She ll have to see a Dr. there and THEN set up a surgery date. We need to know some answers and are scared!
