What Causes Growth Under Toe Nail?
My finger nails have ridges, more so on both thumb nails. Why and can I get rid of it? I have another question. My nail was lifted over 2 years ago. Now that is slowly growing back there is some sort of growth under the toe nail. The toe nail shape is different now (smaller) but about 1/4th of the nail still has that stuff under it. This nail grows so slow. I can cut my toe nails 3 or more times before that one with the growth needs to be cut. Thank you.

Chances of fungal infection is very likely and this can be managed with "Terbinafine cream" you need to continue this for long time for having best result, if this fails then this need to be examined clinically for other medical condition, hope this information helps, take care.
