What Causes Haemangioma Of Tongue Causing Bleeding?
One of my best friend is having tongue hemagioma since 4-5 years.. Surgery was done and many times operations and all were done.. The bleeding which was occuring from here mouth was stopped but again now it started and doctors are saying this cant be healed.. What should be done.. She is just of 15 years.. What can be done to heal it
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain hemangioma is treatable by surgical as well as non surgical approach and non surgical approach includes use of sclerosing agents..
In case if the hemangioma has recurred you should consult a Plastic Surgeon or an Oral Surgeon and get thorough evaluation done and an MRI SCAN can be helpful in making a correct diagnosis and treatment..
First of all the physician /surgeon will follow non surgical procedure like application of sclerosing agent as it helps in shrinkage of the lesion.. At times steroid injection can also be advised.. If non surgical treatment is not effective re-surgery has to be done..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
