What Causes Hair Fall After Increasing The Dosage Of Thyronorm?

Hi, Just 5 months back, I was diagnosed with hypothyrodism with TSH level 7.8, my doctor advised me take thyronorm 25 mcg for 6 weeks, TSH level came down to 6.5 with no considerable side effects, after that my doctor increased the dosage to 50 mcg after which I am seeing a lot of hair loss/fall for last three months. My TSH level are normal now and my doc. has advised me to continue with the same tablets and told that it is not the cause of hairfall. I have no other side effects with the medicine but severe hairfall, I am taking proper nutritious diet, what should I do now to stop this hairfall? Could you please suggest? It would be really helpful. Thanks.

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, hair may have different reason first of all it may be due to age and gender (Which is missing here) second this may not be due to thyroid medicines but of course it may be due to thyroid dysfunction it self, such hair fall can be managed with "Minoxidile 5%" apply this on scalp, hope this information helps, take care and have nice day.
