What Causes Hair Fall And Fatigue While On Synthroid?

I ve taken Synthroid for almost 40 years but am losing my hair, feel foggy and fatigued, and always have normal temp of 97-98F. My dr never increases thyroid because I m in the normal range, but I m hearing changing to Armour (pig thyroid) may help regain my hair and other benefits. However people are stating Armour has changed its formula. Can my GP obtain natural hormone or would you recommend giving Armour a try?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think Armur thyroid is quite a good choice to substitute Synthroid.
You can start using it safely. I think you may need to use minoxidil too to improve your hair quantity.
Also B complex vitamins can help you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
