Hello and welcome to HCM,
Hair fall can occur due to number of causes.
Nutritional deficiency and fungal infection are common causes of hair fall.
However, in your case the hair roots have been found to be healthy and a diagnosis of telogen effuvium is made.
Telogen effivium is a condition wherein the hair follicles pre-maturely enter the resting phase.
Hair has three phases- anagen, catagen and telogen.
Anagen is the growing phase, telogen is the resting phase.
Catagen is the intermediate phase.
The hair strand is shed during telogen phase.
Thus, in telogen effuvium the hair enters the telogen re-maturely thus leading to hair shedding and hair loss.
Stress is an important factor responsible for telogen effuvium.
The hair continue to fall for 4-5 months of the stimulus.
The stress-er may be chronic illness, surgery, anemia, eating disorders etc.
Muti-vitamin and multi-mineral capsules will provide nutrition to the hair follicles.
Bontress lotion has also shown to prevent hair loss.
The condition is reversible and supportive measures will help to regain the lost hair.

Thanks and take care
