What Causes Hair Follicle Growth On Incision Area Of Knee?
Hello Dr.
I had surgery on my knee 4wks ago, My incision starts 5inches below my knee cap up most of the way on my lateral part of the thigh. It seems like it just is not healing as quick as I have before,but my largest incision was 7inches not 17inhes like this time. I developed a itchy hair folicles on my leg along incision and pretty much any where I would itch as hard as I would try not to , would just get itchier, even around my eyes and ears, genitles. I have since dropped my hydrocone and took an antihistmne and itching has gotten alot better around eyes.
It is still itchy on most all of my leg and itchier by the incisions. Little bumpy follicles some look like small pimples, little fuid droplets come out of the bumps if pushed on. I see a Dr. this Monday, should I be conserened in the meantime ?
