What Causes Hair Growth On Wrist After Colles Fracture?

I have recently had a cast removed following a colles fracture. I am wearing a wrist support for the majority of the day, and all night. I have noticed hair growing on the wrist area. Is this normal? Is it a temporary growth or will I need to remove it?
