What Causes Hair Loss Along With Memory Loss After Taking Valparin Chrono?

Hello sir I m patient of epilepsy.. I have been suffer by epilepsy since last 8 years....I went to doctor and done eeg and MRI both after then doctor suggest me to take valparin chrono medicine. If I take this medicine continue nothing happen but if stop seizur happening....since last 3 years I ve no sezure I still take this medicine but it makes my memory lost, hair lost and weight gain. So my question is how long will I still have to take this medicine and is there any other medicine that has ni side effect??? Thank you sir

memory loss and hair loss are known side effects of using Valparin, especially after long term treatment.
I would recommend you consulting with your doctor for changing the drug. But keep in mind that most of the common drugs used for epilepsy treatment are known to have these side effects in different severity.
