What Causes Hair Loss In A Child Along With Yellow Eyes?

My 15 year old has been loosing her hair over the last 6+ months. Started slowly now it s small chunks. We thought it may be her hair conditioner so she changed it- started same time she started using this cheap conditioner. Changed her back to original and seemed ok at first now it s happening again but I also noticed today yellow in her eyes- jaundice. I m making an appt with her pediatrician but I m curious is there any underlying condition that can cause hair loss and jaundice? Something I should bring up with her doctor when we see him

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, fungal infection of hair root could be the cause and I would suggest Povidone Iodine shampoo for this apply this prior to bath at least 20 minuet before if this fails to response then better to see the dermatologist , jaundice may not be the reason hope this information helps.
