What Causes Hair Loss, Loss Of Vision In The Left Eye And Severe Migraines?

I live alone with my thrapy cat Abby. I am having some physical side effects from several mental health medicationS My hair started falling out, i started losing vision in my left eye pretty rapidly. I have pain in my left and whole ear will turn bright red and it is hot to the touch. My left eye also has striking pain shoot though it, and it twitches all the time. I also get severe migraine headackes around my left eye. I would like to a second opinion because it just feels like there is more to this. I don t know who to turn to. Can you help?

Hi,

By your history and description, we should definitely rule out brain pathology first.

So consult neurologist and get done clinical examination and MRI of the brain.

If MRI is normal then no need to worry much. Sometimes stress and anxiety can also cause similar symptoms and migraine too. So consult a psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution.

You may need anxiolytic drugs (propranolol and flunarizine combination) too. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
