What Causes Hair Loss On The Legs And Arms?

i m a 21 yrs old girl who is facing problem of hairloss from skin of legs, arms and forehead after i had suffered from jaundice in my childhood.... now i find a circiular area in the scalp of my head from where hairs have fallen.. my mother is also facing severe form of same disorder...she has very few hairs left on her head..she is around 50 years old

Hi.
As per your case history you are having alopecia areata.
My treatment advice is -
1. Take good nutritious diet full of green leafy vegetables and milk.
2. Don't take stress as it may worsen the condition.
3. Take a vitamin b12 supplement and zinc supplement once daily for 3 months.
4. Apply a tacrolimus 0.03 %ointment on patch of hair loss twice daily.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.
