What Causes Hair Loss While On Adgain Capsule?

Hi , my female friend has a lot of hair loss for the past few months. Her TSH level was around 120 and she has been taking Thyrox 75 since then, also heaomoglobin level is below 10. Referred to a dermatologist and she suggested to use Adgain capsule for 2 months. Please let me know if there may be other probable causes for hair loss and possible remedies
