Dear Dr Kumaravel, my check up test which was done 8 month ago showed that i have hypothyrodism, however i experiene no symptom of this disease. now i am on levothyroxine 50 mcg but the main complication that i have is hair loss..my doctor persists that because my TSH is in normal range it is not related with mu thyroid problem, but i feel that is related! is there suggestion for that?
It is not related to levothyroxine. If symptoms persist you can consult a dermatologist and get evaluated. As of now, you can take zinc containing multivitamins as they will promote hair growth.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
