What Causes Hair Loss, excessive Thirst And Tonsillitis?
I am concerned about my 15 year old niece...she is experiencing several symptoms: loss of hair, excessive thirst, excessive weight gain, & chronic problems with her tonsils....a few years ago, she lived in a very old house (I suspect that it may have had mold or mildew)....and now, the current house in which she lives, may have some mold as well. I am quite sensitive to mold myself so I detect it when I m exposed. Could mold have caused her problems or is there another underlying issue here?
Noted your history related to your 15 year old niece having multiple problems like loss of hair, excessive thirst, weight gain, chronic problems in her tonsils, used to live in old house with may be mould and mildew, you are also sensitive to moulds. Most of the symptoms can be due to one of the following reasons: - Thyroid problems - Hormonal problems - Vitamin deficiency
Hence I would advise her the following: - Consult her GP and discuss all the problems as mentioned, relevant tests of blood - Referred to a specialist as needed
This will allow a proper diagnosis which is very important for proper management.
