What Causes Hallucinations And Aggressive Nature In A Dementia Patient?

yeah, hello n many thanks for ur willingness to help. I m a carer to an old lady a serious dementia. she can be very aggressive n attack carers. she hallucinates n thinks there more people than there truly are. she forgets. the simplest info. what type of dimentia is she suffering from?

There are different types of dementia as you would know but though the exact cause may vary, the symptoms would be the same.

This means that the aggression, hallucinations and memory loss can be related to any cause of dementia.
There are medications that may be able to help control some of these symptoms.

You should consider speaking to her doctor to see if this is an option.
