What Causes Hallucinations Post Intake Of Alcohol?

I am going through a very stressful time and was silly enough to drink too much wine for 3 days, and have now drank just water and soft drinks for the last 3 days. However I am now experiencing hallucinations which started yesterday which consist of frightening dI reams with peculiar characters, music being placed and for some reason when I go into a dark room my hands seem to be growing gold strands which immediately go when I turn on the light. This especially frightens me. How long do these hallucinations carry on for. I certainly do not intend to drink alcohol for some considerable time.

I really appreciate your concern, this is the absolute functional condition and for that it is better to see the psychiatrist, it is advisable to stop drinking alcohol else this may increase the hallucination hope this information helps.
