What Causes Hallucinations While On Seizure Medications?

I took my PM pills for Seizures & I started to dream about alien like creatures & they looked like Ants but, I went to the emergency room & I had to blow my nose & I did. When I blew hard enough, a pill came from my right nostril & then, those thoughts I was having at my apartment were going away. Was I hallucinating, possibly because, I didn t have all my necessary pills for the night?
