What Causes Hand Tremors After Taking Voveran Tablet For Headache?
I STOPPED VASOGRAIN 10 YRS BACK. HAVE TO TAKE VOVORAN FOR HEAD ACHES. FROM LAST 5 YEARS I HAVE TREMORS IN HAND AFTER VARIOUS CHANGES IN MEDICATION NOW TAKE SYNDOPA p 1/2 X 3 /D, TREMORS ARE INCREASED AND STARTED IN 2ND ARM ALSO. WHOLE BODY IS LITHARGIC VERY SLOW IN DOING DAILY ROUTINES. FORE HEAD AND AROUND EYE BROW IS ALWAYS STUFFY AND OFTEN VERY PAIN FULL.
* The hand tremors are not usual side effects of voveran or Diclofenac, but the efficacy of the anti parkinsonism drug can be reduced from intake of Diclofenac and that could be the reason for the hand tremors when the drug level of the active dopamine available for brain is reduced in quantity.
Kindly discuss the issue with your consultant for further management guidelines, till that time, avoid further doses of Diclofenac tablet for pain relief, instead use paracetamol or others.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
