What Causes Hand Tremors And Weakness In The Legs?

For a while I had symptoms of Parkinson s but I could not tolerate the meds. My dad had it and 2 of his sisters had Alzheimer s. I still have ocassional pill rolling tremor in my hands. The feet tremors are gone and my balance has somewhat improved. However, I now have severe leg weakness and terrible foot neuropathy and am not diabetic. I have severe brain fog when waking up from night time sleep or a daytime nap. A lesion in my spine was found in my last MRI (I have had many). I am convinced I have Primary MS. My symptoms have been constant for 2 years. I have undergone all the neurological testings for Parkinson s. I refuse to have a spinal tap. Should I consider MS meds?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

We have to rule out possible neurological causes like essential tremor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
