What Causes Hand, Wrist And Forearm Pain With Fingers Swelling?

I was digging a trench a few days ago, the first day my hand was just tired and sore, when I came home the second day my whole right hand, wrist and forearm hurt. 4 days later, my fingers are swollen, I have a not large but noticeable lump, It hurts to open jars, anything in a spiral motion, grabbing anything causes pain. Not sure if it's a sprain or worse.
