What Causes Hands And Arms Redness With Arm Tingling?

Over the past month or so my hands and feet (and somtimes neck and ears) have periodically turned red and warm not everyday, but a few times throughout each week. Then about 2 weeks ago i woke up and my left arm had limited mobility ( but i did not sleep on that arm) which returned after awhile. Yesterday and today my hands and arms have been pretty much red and warm all day, and that left arm is still a little tingly in the tricep area. What could be causing this, are the two symptoms related?
