What Causes Hands, Shoulder And Finger Numbness, Partial Senselessness After A Shock?

sir last year i was electrocuted for a duration of 30 seconds.immediately i was taken to hospital and they said the aftermath of electric shock is that it would affect the heart.so they took an ecg and verified that there was nothing to worry.but since then i had problems of senseless feeling in the hands and many other parts.we consulted a doctor and he said that it may would have affected the spinal cord and asked to take a mri scan.for a 2nd opinion and another doctor and my friends family doctors who said it was unnecessary for an mri scan. so we did not take any.but now whenever i keep my hands or ears pressed for a longer duration(>15 min) i feel partly senseless of that part and it takes few seconds to regain the sense.this happens often after i was electrocuted.few days back i put my hands below my body and i slept. i felt complete senselessness of my hand from shoulder to fingers.when i woke up i could not feel i have a hand. i could not lift my left hand on my own and with the right hand i lift it.after a minute it slowly regaining the sense.this has happened once even before i was electrocuted.the doctors say since it happened only twice it is not abnormal. the frequent partial senselessness worry me a lot.should i need a further consultation..? i hope you answer my query...
