What Causes Hanging Skin In The Bottom Of Tongue?

I have these little pieces on the bottom of my tongue that are hnging off bit they dont reallyy hurt or anything i just notied them the other day. they almost remind me of a very skinny skin tag on the bottom of my tongue. theres about 5 or so that i can see and i cant pull them off.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your complain skin tags present on the under surface of tongue are not any pathology but are the folds of mucous membranes known as Plica Fimbriata..
They are normal anatomical structures and you need not to worry as they are not due to any disease..
Do not try to pull them off as doing so can injure the mucosal folds and cause inflammation and pain..
They are present on both side of the mid line on the under surface of tongue..
