What Causes Hard And Moving Swelling Near Rib?

small swelling 1cm ,near the 2nd last rib 10 year old boy,has cough and cold for the past one week,boy claims it to be present for a long time but noticed by the mother over the past few days.The swelling moves and is a bit hard,not painful.Is visible when the body is stretched .Please help
