What Causes Hard Bump With Bruising After Accident?

i was in a motorcycle accident a week ago, my leg go smashed between the wall and bike, there is a large bruise, but where the impact actually hit is a large, hard bump, and the color is different from the bruise surrounding it, what is it? should i be concerned?
