What Causes Hard Lump At The Tip Of Penis?

Hello, I was not circumcised as a baby and ever since I could remember I had a small pea sized, hard lump at the tip of my penis inside the for skin. I am 35 and it never caused any pain or issues other than being gross, then within the last month it disappeared for no reason. The pouch of skin in was in is still there but the lump, which was hard and round, is now gone. I am concerned as to what it may have been and where it went. I had a dr tell me years ago it was a cyst but I m not sure about that. I don t know if this had anything to do with it but my sexual activity has recently spiked but not sure if that was the cause. Any info on the subject would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
You have put in the symptoms of the lump, its vanishing on its own and there being a pouch of skin as all suggestive of a smegma collection under the skin which gets opened up without any knowledge and is totally a benign condition.
This may re-accumulate and hence you now know it you can always open up the cleaning is easy and do it regularly so that there is no problem again.
