What Causes Hard Lump Behind The Ear?

Hi, I have a lump behind my left ear. It is a very hard lump. It doesn t move and doesn t feel puffy . It doesn t hurt and I haven t had any symptoms. It just showed up one day. I tired putting ice on it one night. The next day I put heat on it. Nothing helped it go down. Should I be worried this is a tumor?

Hard lump behind the ear needs to be investigated with fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC). FNAC is an office procedure wherein the cells are aspirated from the lump and examined. Examination of the cells will determine the nature of the lesion.
