What Causes Hard Lump In Between Thigh And Pubic Area?

Hi there. I am 19 and i have this lump that sits right inbetween my inner left theigh and my groin area. Its red and hard and has been there about 2 or so weeks becoming bigger slowly. Last night it just randomly starts bleeding with what looks like some puss. Now its also worth noting that it has been completely painless unless messed with as well. Could this be some weird ingrown hair??

Hello,

You are suffering from a hard lump in between thigh and pubic area. It is painless unless messed with. Presently, it is passing pus and pus. Your symptom may be indicative of boil, abscess, ingrown hair, trauma due to sting or bite. Other medical conditions that can cause similar symptoms are warts(as a result of human papillomavirus infection) or sexually transmitted infections (STIs), such as chancroid.

Depending on the cause, treatment may include medications (antibiotics and analgesics), drainage, or surgery. Get clinically examined by a GP, get STD tests done to stay on the safer side. If sexually transmitted diseases are detected then you will be treated with antibiotics and antivirals.

Take care of your hygiene, visit ER or get it cleaned. Get antiseptic dressing done by a health care provider. Get treated at the earliest. Avoid sex for a couple of days if sexually active, give it time to heal. Stay away from addictions if any.
