What Causes Hard Lump On The Leg?

I have a swelling, a hard lump, on the outside of my 5th metatarsal (upper end - away from toes) due to wearing ski boots. I am a ski instructor and thus wear ski boots for 6 hours or more every day. Is this some type of a bunion? This has developed in the last week I think as I have not noticed it before.

DEAR FRIEND
THIS APPEARS TO BE ENLARGED BURSA OR RARELY A GANGLION.
IF YOU ARE HAVING ANY PROBLEM BECAUSE OF IT, IT HAS TO BE EXCISED. CONSULT A SURGEON.
THANK YOU. HAVE A HEALTHY DAY
