What Causes Hard Lump On Vaginal Lip?

Okay, i have a lump on the lip of my vagina, not near the opening or anything.
it started out a bump and i thought nothing of it, thought it was a infected
hair or something.
i get those alot...
well, this is hard and if i squeeze on it, some puss comes out but the lump
doesnt. =[ what to do?
i dont have insurance so i dont want to go to the hospital and im extremely shy
and dont want to go to the gyno.
