What Causes Hard Lumps On Either Side Of The Groin?
I have two hard lumps that are the size of a large grape on both sides of my groin area. First doctor says inflamed lymph nodes but second doctor suspects something muscular since I have recently increased the frequency of my strength training. Ovaries are normal size and no sign of an STD. Any thoughts on what it might be?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have hard lumps on either side of the groin which seems to be due to bacterial or viral infection , follicullitis , STD , hernia , lipoma or lymph node swelling . I would suggest you to apply warm compresses on groin area , wear loose cloths , keep this area clean and dry , apply over the counter antibiotics and anti inflammatory . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will check tenderness and consistency and take sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe antibacterial or antiviral depending upon the diagnosis . Doctor may recommend surgical excision .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
