What Causes Hard Painful Lumps Underneath The Skin?

I got a bad bruise a week and a half ago. It s healed up almost, but there is a bump where it has healed. Also, I have noticed a bump about a foot away from it underneath a stretch mark I have that is on my upper thigh around where my leg and hip meet. I am 15, and these bumps have occurred on the same leg. Also, the bump a foot away from the original bruise was not a bruised area (to my knowledge). That bump is hard, easy to move around, and does not cause any pain unless I press on it and hit the nerves (I guess that s what that is) underneath. The skin is barely raised at all, to be honest it is not noticeable by sight, only if you feel it. The skin is not red or itchy around it either. I have done a full body examination and I have no other bumps. Any insights?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The bump underneath the healed scar is either a hematoma or a collection or a foreign body reaction.
The other bumps, which can be seen but palpable, hard, mobile freely, painless look to be lipomas. Co-incidentally noted by you as you were trying to find out for the curiosity.
Do not worry, Consult a Surgeon, get examined, get them removed if they are bothering you.
This will help us in two ways:
1. you get rid of the lumps and
2. you get a definitive diagnosis.

I find this answer helpful
