What Causes Hard,crusty And Red Pimples At The Back Of The Neck?

My 10 yr old daughter showed these weird pimples on her hairline at the back of her neck. She complained that was sore. I felt it and it was very hard, crusty and red. I ve also noticed that it is spreading towards her ears. It is confined to the hairline. What is this? And how can it be treated. I m trying to get an appointment with a dermatologist.

1. your daughter concern may be seborrohoiec dermatitis or follicuitis.

2. both are treatable.

3. not harmful and not contagious.

4. she can try lulifin lotion bed time and fudic cream day time until she consult a dermatologist for physical examination.
