What Causes Hardness At The Bottom Of Left Testicles?

Hi,

Doctor I have problem with my left testicle. It feels hard at bottom sometimes and sometimes get soft. I think its the tail of epididymis. Maybe I have got epididymitis because I have seen some liquid accumulation along the testicle and in semen I have found flakes mixed with pure semen. When flakes come in semen it has whitish fluid around mixed with opaque white semen. In my opinion I have got infection in my left epididymis. plz guide me what it is exactly and how should I proceed. Should I take antibiotics if so which antibiotic is best to treat epididymitis.

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Yes this is very well a possibility of epididymitis.
The best way to get confirmed is an examination by an Urologist and ultrasonography with color doppler examination. Since the antibiotics are prescription based medicines , I would request you to follow your Doctor's advise.

Also you should get the following examinations:
Blood, urine , semen analysis and culture sensitivity, this will aid in further management.
