I am 40 years old and have worked all my life and ever since I was a child I can remember having a funny dizzyness in my head that causes me to stagger sometimes when I walk and mild effects of blurred vison. I even had my family doctor try by treating it with Meclizine years ago, and when that didn't help, I just went back to living with it, but due to a recent jaw surgery to make my bite come together and a surgery for spontanous pneumothorax, and back pain from working for an ambulance service for the past 17 years of lifting people, I have been placed on hydrocodone, on and off from time to time. I have noticed that when I'm on it, it makes my dizzyness go away and I my energy level is even increased. Unfortunatly there is a large population of people that like to take this to get high on and doctors are reluctant to prescribe it. But apparently one of the ingredients in this drug really helps me to think clearer and gets rid of my dizziness, but when I ask my doctor for it I get that look, like I am just another drug seeker. Is there a known diagnosis or has anyone done studies on this condition?
