What Causes Head Fuzziness With Stomach And Back Pains?
Im 33 weeks pregnant, on bed rest for preterm labor, bad cardiac reaction to the meds to stop contractions, had steriod shots for my babys lungs. My head is fussy feeling, my pupils are really small, sharp pains come and go not regular, stomach and back feels like someone is pulling my skin tight, also my legs when i walk feel heavy and cramping, upset stomach. What should I do?
Hello, As per your symptoms, it appears as though you are experiencing persistent uterine irritability since you had to stop uterine relaxants. The cramps could be due to mineral and electrolyte deficiencies. The dizziness and pupil constriction could be due to the uterine relaxant medication given earlier. Please get your blood pressure monitored regularly and get help whenever necessary. Since you need to try and postpone your labor until as long as feasible, please take absolute bed rest in left lateral position most of the time. Wish you safe motherhood.
