What Causes Head Heaviness, Eyes Redness, Headache And Sleepiness Despite Quitting Alcohol?

Hi doctor.. I am rahul/32/Male from chandigarh. i am suffering from high BP from last 4 years now and i have been taking concor am5 till last month now my doc. has prescribed me amblopres.i am taking zolfresh 10 mg too in the night. i was a heavy alcoholic and smoker too.. my question is inspite of quitting alcohol i feel my head very heavy and red eyes, headache and sleepy.

Kindly suggest that why this is continuing after quitting alcohol.

It's called withdrawal symptoms.
There are others like sweating, sleeplessness, tremor etc.
Please consult your doctor for that.
