What Causes Head Pressure And Popping Sensation In Ear?

Hello... I have been having major head pressure, ear popping and migraines for a while now. Dr said its allergies, but allergy meds don t seem to help. I just noticed this morning a dent on my top left of my skull that was not there before. Should I be worried ?

Hello!

I read your question carefully and understood your concern.

A new indentation in the head may be caused by a bone or meningeal disorder. Vitamin D deficiency and low Calcium plasma levels can cause indentations but without headache.

I would recommend you to consult with an neurologist for a careful physical examination, a blood test and a brain CT scan to exclude a tumor or inflammation.
Further tests like vitamin D and Calcium plasma levels may be necessary to establish the cause.

Hope to have been helpful!

Greetings! Dr. Aida
