What Causes Headache After An Injury?

I have a dull headache which feels like the center and a little to my right of my head. I was wakeboarding and fell but it didn't feel like a bad fall or thagt I even hit my head, but I had a pretty sharp headache right away and its been getting duller and duller everyday since. Its been a week now but the headache isnt fully gone, did I get whip lash? I had no symphtoms of a concussion besides the headache. Should I be concerned?

Good day sir.... headaches are very common after a traumatic event like u have described ... even if you don't have signs of a concussion, the headaches can persist for weeks or sometimes months ... the best treatment is to take adequate rest, a simple pain killer like Acetaminophen. the pain will slowly go away. This injury is certainly not whip lash. I hope u get a full recovery and I hope my advice satisfied your answer.
