What Causes Headache Along With Cough And Swollen Lymph Node?

I ve been sick for well-over 6 months and I m getting bounced around from specialist to specialist who eliminate somethings but don t provide a diagnosis or a cure. Symptoms vary and morph, but include headache, cough (w/ and w/out colored sputum), gland swelling, sore throat with strong dull pain, and sore throat sometimes more normal, ear aches in both ears that are very short and come and go, and extreme fatigue. I react well to steriods, but the moment I m off them it comes back. I react seemingly well to antibiotics but, again, when I m off them it come back (and I ve been told some tests reveal it s more viral?) It s NOT acute chronic Ebstein Barr, thyroid tests fine, nasal CatScan and probe was fine, past infections of EBV but not current, and past infectsion of CMV, but not current....help?
