What Causes Headache Along With Mood Swings And Hot Flashes?
I ve been having headache everyday for the last few days. In the last couple of months I vs also experienced hot flashes, mood swings feeling irritated easily and overly emotional ( I don t have PMS symptoms this badly). I ve been taking the same birth control for over two years and never had side effects. I made an appointment to follow up with my OB, all tests came back normal (ultrasound and exams) , but my blood test indicated low hormone level. Not sure what that means and I want to do something that can help me from now till next week until I m seen. Thanks for the help.
We will try to help you in the best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, two reasons can be responsible.
One endocrine other psychological. Hormonal imbalance as you mentioned can be responsible for the symptoms however other endocrine disorders like Thyroid functions etc should be assessed.
If normal, other psychological disorders like anxiety or stress can present like this. You need to have a review with a psychiatrist too to rule those out.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
