What Causes Headache Along With Neck Pain And Fever?

I live in a rural area of burnet county Wisconsin- headache, severe ncknpain- no movement to Edith side, fever, night sweats, head feels like or hair like someone s been pulling on it severely, lost 8 pound in ttwo weeks.. chills..diminished appetites... blood test taken no meds given by PA and symptoms not gone and sleep varies help

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Headache, fever, chills, neck pain etc are suggestive of meningitis more. Meningitis is infection of brain covering (meninges). You need MRI brain, CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) examination and other blood reports. You also need Intravenous antibiotics, fluids, anti pyretic and other supportive drugs. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these. But first visit emergency room and discuss all these.
