What Causes Headache And Abdominal Cramps After Taking Emergency Contraceptive Pills?

My girlfriend is on birth control and she missed two days then took two pills. We are both 19. We had unprotected sex about a week after her period and I pulled out but I’m unsure if it was successful. She then took two more pills right after we had sex. Now a few weeks later she said her breasts hurt, she has a headache, and had a cramp this morning. Her next period is in 6 days. She got a new bra recently which could possibly explain the breast pain, but I am very worried and am curious what the odds are that she is pregnant and if I should be worried.

Hello there I have read through your question and understand your concern. Since your girlfriend was already on oral contraceptives there is very less chance that she is pregnant. The cramping and breast pain can all be a part of premenstrual syndrome. But if you have any doubts you can get a Urine pregnancy test done if she misses her period.
