What Causes Headache And Blood In The Nose?

my son's shirt was little bloody and when I asked him he told me he wiped his nose on it when he woke up he had a headache. Lately he's been complaining about headache but mostly tension related. He recently started playing chess and he's very competitive. He gets headaches right after each match. Plus he's been complaining about not seeing far. Over the years he's gain weight but he's active. He does soccer and exercise. He is also a bed wetter.. I'm not sure if all these are related but just wanted to give you all the details. Why would he wake up with headache and blood on his shirt?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

You have mentioned in history that He has problem in far vision....
So get his refractive error checked....

Because refractive error can lead reffered headache .....
So correct it with suitable glasses.....

Second measure his blood pressure , if high this symptoms can occur ....

Excessive heat exposure can lead headache ....and bleed from nose ..

When bleed from nose occurs pinch nose with thumb and finger for five minute....

Also get his rhinoscopy nose examination for investigation....

Also get his CBC done ....If platelet low then cause for it searched...

Consult ENT surgeon with keeping this in mind .
