What Causes Headache And Bump Along The Ridgepole Of The Skull?
Hi. I suffer from headaches, have for years. Over the course of the past 2 months, I ve had a headache, primarily on the left side of my head. It tends to be near the temple region. It tends to happen every single day. I did have several headache free days recently, and then developed a cold. The other day I was rubbing my temple because I ve felt pretty crappy (cold symptoms are finally going away) and noticed a painful bump on the ridge of my skull where it seems like 2 bones meet. It s above my left temple and more long than it is round. I m freaking out over this. I m uninsured, can t afford a doctor right now. It hurts more when I press on it then it does on its own. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!
Your symptoms could be related to local inflammation or a tensed muscle. I recommend taking Indomethacin for a week. If this does not help, consulting with a neurologist will be necessary.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
