What Causes Headache And Dizziness After Taking Zoloft And Lamictal?
I have major depressive disorder and ptsd. I m on 200 mgs of zoloft, 200 mgs of Lamictal and I asked my shrink to increase my ablify from 5 to 10 mgs 5 days ago, because I had been feeling depressed. I don t feel well at all. Headache, dizzy, depressed (not suicidal), crying and very tired. He is very hard to reach. I ve also taken 5mgs of klonolpin for 15 years. He wants me to switch to valium and then titrate off very slowly because it can increase my depression. What do I do today? I might be able to reach him tomorrow. Other meds, a statin and thryoid for two years. I m a 63 year old female.
Headache and dizziness are a known side effects of both Zoloft and Lamictal. Headache can also be a symptom of your depression. I would recommend an over the counter pain killer like Acetaminophen for the headache. For change of dosage or medicine i recommend consulting with your doctor. hope this helps and you get better soon. Thank you.
