What Causes Headache And Dizziness After Undergoing Abortion?
I had a missed miscarriage @ 6weeks but only discovered the fetus had no heart beat after an ultrasound @ 10weeks . The d & c was done on 25/09/14. I started having a pounding and throbbing headache on the 13/10/14. The headache is persistent and I have feel light headed through out the day since then. What can be the problem?
Do you have any pain in the stomach or fevers. In the absence of any other symptoms, it is possible that you have a migraine. A migraine is a repetitive type of headache that occurs again and again. A migraine usually starts because of a trigger factor. These trigger factors can be something like: Colds Fevers Certain foods Exercise Heat
If you are able to identify a trigger factor, then it is also possible that this is causing the problem. You can manage this by avoiding the trigger factor.
Also, try the following therapy to see if it helps you: - Drink lots of water - Inhale steam to clear the nasal passages - Take Paracetamol 500 every time you feel that a headache is about to start - Sleep well and 8 hours at a time
Follow up after a week. Wishing you a quick recovery. Hope this helps you
