What Causes Headache And Insomnia?

Dear Sir, My mother aged 55 having headache problem & couldn't able to sleep for the past 3 weeks and we contacted General doctor initially and he gave tablets and it was a temporary relief. Last two days she got severe pain and doctor advised for CT scan for brain and for neck. We did the scanning today and the result for normal for braing and for neck is 1.Left side : high bifurcation of carotid arteries . 2.short neck patient 3. Hence left external carotid artery could not be seen . otherwise all normal. Please tell us how serious this case and how we resolve this.
